Thank you for your interest in the 6th Annual FPL Americas Electronic Trading Conference. This year's event was held at the New York Marriott Marquis on November 4th and 5th. It is with great pleasure that we announce the close of another successful event. Many people contributed significantly to this conference, but we wish to specifically recognize the generous support of our sponsors and exhibitors whose continuous support ensures a high quality event year after year.
The core of any conference is a strong agenda, and with 22 relevant and insightful presentations and panel discussions, this year's conference truly delivered impactful information to keep delegates up to speed with the changing electronic trading industry. Our 55 speakers were excellent without exception. We surpassed last year's number of registered delegates by a significant amount and an unprecedented number of reporters and journalists resulted in extensive press coverage of the conference. The separation of business and technology topics into two separate days attracted our highest number of buy-side delegates to date. The FIX program office is currently following up with several firms who expressed interested in joining the organization at the event and activities that will require new working groups to address relevant issues.
