FIX Protocol Ltd. (FPL)
Jordan & Jordan provides business and resource management to FPL, the global organization that owns and maintains the FIX Protocol. Beginning in 2003, J&J provided program office support to FPL as the organization began its restructuring initiative and started encouraging broader industry participation.Services provided to the FPL organization include:
- Central point for coordination and communication of all global activities associated with the FIX Protocol
- Management of internal and third party resources for legal, accounting, translation and other association-related needs
- Interface to other organizations including the Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), Futures Industry Association (FIA), ISITC-IOA, Transaction Workflow Innovation Standards Team (TWIST), Financial Information Forum (FIF), The International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), South African Securities Lending Association (SASLA) and the International Capital Market Association (ICMA)
- Participate in strategic discussions and assist in coordinating strategic planning sessions
- Marketing of FIX globally through the support of Education & Marketing Committees, creation and distribution of marketing literature, participation at FPL and 3rd party conferences, and media relations
- Management of new FPL membership (provides information to prospects, maintains prospect database, manages membership sign up process, maintains membership statistics)
- Coordinating all global committee and working group meetings – coordinating venue, sending notifications, tracking attendance, assisting with coordination meeting documentation and creation of agendas, producing meeting summaries and action plans
- Development of strategic and operating budget with monthly updates based on actual revenue and expenses
- Ensuring that the process for proper revenue and expense recognition and cash flow management is executed in a professional manner
- Fully-hosted facilities support including telecom, computers, internet, office space and conference room as required
